It was still pretty muddy in the area where I took this pic of Maiku, and the horses were moving slowly.
It may make the going harder, but we’ll be glad of that moisture in the ground when the warm temperatures roll around again.

I love Maiku and his very special markings. He is always so very recognizable in all that handsomeness!
Hopefully soon we’ll have some more of that winter white stuff to show off his healthy, glowing dark coat to even better advantage! 🙂
